Celebrating Harvest in Crookham

Crookham Junior School Harvest Breakfast

Naomi Booth :: Friday 11th October 2019 :: This Story

Crookham Junior School have been celebrating Harvest with their tradition of Harvest Breakfast.
The children work together in groups to organise their breakfasts. Some children bring in beautiful table decorations, while others bring in bread, pastries, waffles and pancakes, and others bring the fruit and the jam. It's a wonderful celebration but the children also spend time thinking about what they can do for others.
This year each child has taken home some promises of good deeds they intend to do. The aim is to raise money by carrying out the acts of kindness which will then be donated to Ocean Stars to help build a well at the Pattipalai Preschool.
The children at Crookham Junior School are really looking forward to seeing how the project develops.
