Preschool day trip

To see the sea

A group of 50 students, teachers and parents of Ampilanthurai Preschool went on a day trip recently.

Living in a village, the students were very excited to travel by bus, and for some of them it was their first time seeing the sea and going to the beach.

They visited Sivan Kovil, Mamankam Kovil and Kaamachchi Kovil and Batticaloa Light House. They also visited Passikudah Beach.

The children had a wonderful day out and there was lots of singing and laughter on the bus!
