Situated in the remote village of THANTHA Little Stars original preschool had to be relocated as the area has a large problem with elephants. Homes are frequently destroyed by elephants and keeping elephants away from residential areas has been challenging to the local community.
After a lot of negotiating and hard work the local government office donated a plot of land in a safe area and gave us permission to build the preschool. For Devamalar our Little Stars teacher this is a dream come true.
We wish her and the community Good Luck as they start the New Year.
