Ocean Stars will be sharing with our supporters some of the goals that we have been working towards. Today it is: Goal 1: No Poverty
Here are some of the ways in which we have achieved this goal.
- Working with the local government to identify communities living below the poverty line when setting up our preschools. In some of our communities up to 85% of families live below the poverty line.
- Providing food parcels to families who were left with no income during the strict curfews of Covid lockdown.
- Empowering children through education so that the cycle of poverty
