Ocean Stars Trust welcomed Abdul Basith from Batticaloa, Sri Lanka yesterday. He is here to attend our 20th celebration event this Saturday 22 March. Abdul, who was sponsored by Ocean Stars since the age of 5 and is now a successful entrepreneur aged 25, is a shining example of how child sponsorship transforms lives.
On 20th March, Abdul Basith met up with his sponsor, Ann, who sponsored him from the age of 5 till 18. Thusanthan, who grew up at Grace Children's Home in Vavuniya, and was supported by Ocean Stars whilst growing up, arrived in Fleet from the USA. Some really special moments, with more to come this weekend.
