Team 2 are excited to be visiting some of the 31 preschools supported by the Ocean Stars Trust in Sri Lanka!
Our theme for this trip is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We've prepared 800 colourful butterfly hats for the children to decorate, make, and wear - an activity we know they'll absolutely love.
Thanks to generous donations and our fundraising efforts, we've also purchased 30 copies of the book, ensuring that each preschool we visit will have their own to enjoy for years to come.
Alongside story time, we'll be keeping busy (and having plenty of fun!) with bubbles, bean bags, and the Hokey Cokey - always favourites with the children.
As our team members are spread out across the UK, we don't yet have a team photo, but we'll be sure to upload one once we're all together in Sri Lanka.
Amali and Cemeron from our Trustee Board will be meeting stakeholders and having strategy planning meetings.
