The CPS Team 2025 have continued their Sri Lankan adventure today with a visit to the Temple of the tooth in Kandy and an elephant safari . Photos to follow soon . The students have been reflecting on their trip so far...
Jasmine - I have enjoyed spending time with everyone and being on the magic bus. It has been great to get to know everyone so well.
Matilda - I enjoyed seeing the elephants and going on the tuk-tuks. I have enjoyed everything so far!
Imogen - I have enjoyed seeing the local culture and making new friends. I liked seeing the elephants and all the monkeys.
Sarah - I have learnt a lot about the culture and how people lived. I enjoyed the Sri Lankan food and seeing the elephants, and really enjoyed my visit to the temples today.
Milly- My most favourite thing so far has been going down the hill from the temple in the tuk tuk. It was so much fun.
Dexter - I really enjoyed going in the tuk-tuks and enjoyed my visits to the temple today.
Milo - I really enjoyed feeding the elephants at Pinawala. I enjoyed the train ride we took too.
Beth - I really enjoyed the train ride and laying flowers before the Buddha at the Temple of the Tooth
Abi - I really enjoyed my time with all the children at Haragama school - it was a lot of fun.
Mrs Shackell - I had a wonderful time at the elephant sanctuary, made even more memorable by being caught it a torrential downpour. I was able to touch a baby elephant making its way down to the water.
Mrs Haynes - We have had a wonderful three days in Kandy. I really enjoyed seeing both the temples this morning and am looking forward to seeing the elephants this afternoon. The students have been great fun to be with.
Mr Walker - I had a wonderful time at Haragama school, meeting staff and students, and very much enjoyed our visits to Buddhist temples today.
Gishen Boraluwa - I have really enjoyed being part of this programme and getting to know the students.
Gihan Boraluwa - It has been amazing so far, we have been able to visit some incredible places, and we are looking forward to our jeep safari in the national park. We warmly welcome Mrs Shackell on board.
