Cultural links and exchanges are at the heart of the work of Ocean Stars Trust. Visiting schools in Sri Lanka is a truly life-changing experience for UK students - one that often shapes their outlook on the world and even influences future career choices.
Calthorpe Park School, Fleet, has been in partnership with Ocean Stars Trust since 2013. Over the years, 150+ students have travelled to Sri Lanka, forming deep connections, gaining global understanding, and supporting meaningful change. This year, we are excited to welcome 18 more students who will be visiting as part of Team 2026.
These students don't just take part - they actively fundraise to support the work of Ocean Stars Trust, learning the value of service, empathy, and global citizenship. Preparations are well underway, with regular meetings and growing excitement as the journey approaches.
