Ocean Stars Preschools in Sri Lanka
Ocean Stars has 30 preschools that they support in Sri Lanka. Ocean Stars UK and Lanka believe passionately in the importance of Early years Development. Most of our Preschools are located in remote villages where there were no Preschool educational opportunities so the communities are very grateful to Ocean Stars for the opportunities that we provide in giving the children the best possible start in their journey through education.
We help by:
- Covering the costs of running a preschool for one year.
- At the beginning of every year, we provide a uniform and a backpack for each of the children attending our schools. Our teachers receive an Ocean Stars sari as their 'uniform' for work.
- Providing Teacher Training for our all island Preschool teachers.
- Pay the wages of our Preschool teachers.
