Vivekananda Pre-School
Well-resourced. A really great preschool. Well-resourced with two separate areas for the different ages. A soft book area, all posters up on the walls. Children's work hanging - shape work. Very organised.
The teachers were very calm and engaged well with the children and listened. The children reacted well and all joined in. When reading the story they got very excited knowing the word for caterpillar in Tamil and shouting it out, excited for the story. They were also able to shout out the names of the fruit in English. Counted using fingers to different fruit etc eaten.
After the story we did the hat, followed by different activity areas and the children taking them in turns. Play kitchen - Cars - Cheerio Activity. All engaged well with some feeding the teddies. All did well with the threading.
