Our Teacher Training Programme continued today with a packed schedule of workshops - and our preschool teachers brought their full energy to every single one.
The day began at 5:30am, with teachers gathering for tea before an inspiring Yoga for Children session that left everyone energised and focused for the day ahead.
In the Understanding the World workshop led by Dilanee, teachers explored a new section of our Child Development Assessment Tool, drawing their families, exploring nature with magnifying glasses, and even building bug observation containers from recycled bottles.
Mr. Amjeth Khan's Communication Skills workshop brought storytelling, charades and feelings-games to life, helping teachers build children's emotional literacy and confidence.
After lunch, Mr. Croos led a Literacy workshop on early reading foundations and the power of storytelling, before the team from Butterfly Peace Garden closed the day with music, movement, and a celebration song written specially for Ocean Stars' 21st anniversary!
The day ended with teachers crafting their own animal puppets from recycled materials, proof that powerful learning doesn't need an expensive resource, just creativity and teamwork.
