Another early start, another incredible day!

Our preschool teachers began at 5.30am with morning tea before a 6am Yoga Workshop - this time exploring "Animal Asanas" with Mrs. Sivashakthi, mastering poses from the pigeon to the giraffe!
From there, teachers dived into a Mathematical Development workshop led by Mr. Jeyavathanan, discovering how shapes, patterns and spatial awareness can be taught through fun, hands-on play - building the foundations for lifelong problem-solving
We were delighted to welcome back Mr. Nafeer, Zonal Education Officer for Batticaloa, for his third consecutive year leading our Physical Development workshop! Two hours of non-stop energy, games, and laughter - including a balloon-blowing competition that had the whole room in stitches.
And of course, no training is complete without the Butterfly Peace Garden team! Drums, guitars, and animal songs filled the hall, followed by a beautiful art activity where simple black lines transformed into imaginative scenes - proving creativity has no limits.
